What To Expect
During Your Visit

Forms

Upon entering our office our receptionist will greet and welcome you as a member of our family. We will request that you fill our new patient forms. The paperwork provides us with general information about you, your condition, and your health history. These forms are also available on this website if you would like to complete them prior to your arrival. Simply print the forms and bring them with you.

Examination

After your consultation, Dr. Staggs will perform a complete chiropractic examination testing your reflexes, your ability to turn and bend, as well as other standard neurologic, orthopedic, postural, and physical examinations. Nothing will be done in our office without your consent.

Report of Findings

Once all the information is gathered, and examinations have been performed, a separate appointment will be made so Dr. Staggs can give you a report of findings to answer patients’ three most popular questions:

  1.  Can you help me?
  2.  How long will it take?
  3.  How much is it going to cost?

After discussing with you your history and your goals, examining your spine and reviewing any x-rays or tests, Dr. Staggs will discuss recommendations with you. If you have a condition that requires care with other providers, the doctor will tell you. If the doctor believes he can help you, he will recommend an appropriate treatment and wellness program.

Consultation

You will have a consultation with Dr. Staggs to discuss your health-related problems and concerns, as well as potential treatment options. Your first visit is designed for Dr. Staggs to learn more about you, your condition, and your expectations to determine whether chiropractic care will you meet your goals.

X-Ray Studies

Your specific condition may require Dr. Staggs to take x-rays in order to get a full evaluation of your problem. X-rays help us rule out more serious conditions, and assist us in developing the most effective treatment plan for you. Most people are amazed once they see their x-rays, and can often immediately identify on their own their structural problems and degenerative changes.

Treatment

Patients will generally be provided with their first treatment at the conclusion of their initial appointment. Treatment is interactive with you, so you can express any concerns you have about the style of adjustment you will be most comfortable with. Staggs uses multiple adjusting techniques.
