Professional History

Dr. Staggs has been treating patients for over 30 years. He is a proud graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, the first and most respected chiropractic college in the world. A third generation Palmer graduate, Dr. Staggs is proud to be in the same profession that his grandfather, father, brother, brother-in-law, and 2 nephews were or currently are in. At Palmer, Dr. Staggs graduated with high honors and was listed as a member of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges. He completed a clinical extern program with Dr. Clyde W. Zerba in Sierra Vista, AZ.

After graduating from Palmer in 1990, Dr. Staggs purchased his chiropractic practice from his brother, Dr. Bruce Staggs. He moved the practice to Pantano and Broadway, where he was located for 10 years. Dr. Staggs then moved the practice to Camino Seco and Speedway. Finally, Dr. Staggs opened his current office in Rita Ranch in April, 2008.

Since graduating, Dr. Staggs has treated tens of thousands of patients with a variety of health issues. He enjoys being a part of his patients’ lives and can often be found laughing and joking in the office. Dr. Staggs feels strongly that the patient-doctor relationship is one of mutual respect and admiration.

About Dr. Staggs

Personal History

Dr. Staggs is a Tucson native, having been born at Tucson Medical Center. He attended Rincon High School, where he graduated in 1980.

Dr. Staggs is married to his incredible best friend, Heather. Heather has brought peace and happiness to his life. Heather loves dragging Dr. Staggs along on her mini vacations. Their favorite part of each trip are the conversations they have on their way there and their way home. Together, they are raising Heather’s daughters, Nivea and Reese.

Dr. Staggs has three amazing children, Blake, Alexa, and Brittany. Brittany is married to Greg Breinholt; they have two boys, Titan and Ranger, and a daughter, Skout. Alexa is married to Kyler Kartchner; they have a daughter, Averie, and a son, Rhett. Together, they made Dr. Staggs a proud grandfather. Blake and Dr. Staggs work together on a medical scheduling app called fitUin. Dr. Staggs lives for his family!

Dr. Staggs coached girls’ softball for 3 years when his daughter was young. He loved watching the young girls excel, and focused on teaching the girls softball basics, and to enjoy the game. He also coached both boys’ and girls’ basketball at Desert Sky Middle school for 3 years, where his teams won 3 league championships. During that time, Desert Sky also won several invitational tournaments. He finished coaching at Rincon Vista Middle School, where he coached girls’ basketball in the school’s first year of existence. Dr. Staggs’ career basketball record was 84-19, with 9 of those losses coming in one season of boys’ basketball when he had a young team. That same team went 18-2 the following year. His crowning moments as a coach were coaching his daughter, Alexa in softball, and his son, Blake in basketball. Dr. Staggs loves being around young people and helping them achieve their full potential.

Dr. Staggs has been active in the community for many years. He has served in various capacities for the Vail School District. Dr. Staggs also served as the chairman for the committee that raised $2.7 million to build the first Fisher House in Arizona. This house is similar to a Ronald McDonald House for military families. The Arizona Fisher House is located on the campus of the Tucson VA Center. He has also served in various positions for his church. His most cherished church calling was when he served as bishop of his congregation for five years. Dr. Staggs has a strong religious belief, which has and continues to shape his life. Dr. Staggs admires people of all faiths.

Auto accidents generally cause considerable trauma to the body, especially the spine. We take all auto insurances and wait for payment.

Neurofeedback

Neurofeedback, also called EEG Biofeedback is a state-of-the-art, non-invasive, drugless method for teaching the brain to function in a more balanced and healthful way.
